In cladding applications, the composition is largely equivalent to that of the 1.4401 \/ 316 base material, even from the first pass. It is designed to provide excellent weldability and wetting properties and offers high resistance to cracking. These properties are provided by B\u00f6hler Thermanit 309L.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Ferrite (Fischer Feritscope):<\/b> \u201340 \u00b0C to 300 \u00b0C<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Corrosion resistance:<\/b> Superior to 1.4404 \/ 316L even in the first coating layer<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><b>Oxidation (tuffing) temperature:<\/b> Approximately 950 \u00b0C in air<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">The former product name for SAW wire is **\u201cAvesta P5\u201d**.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>\u201cAvesta Flux 805\u201d<\/b>is an agglomerated basic flux that provides good welding properties, a clean weld bead appearance, and easy slag removal.
