Class
Union S 2 Mo – UV 400 is a wire-flux combination for submerged arc welding of unalloyed and low-alloy steels. The combination is used in joining and coating applications in general-purpose structural steels, fine-grained structural steels, and boiler and pipe steels. It can be used with both DC and AC currents. This combination combines very good weld properties with high strength and toughness levels in the weld metal. It is suitable for single and multi-pass butt and fillet welds, as well as the 2-pass technique. Slag separation is excellent.
UV 400 is an aluminate-based agglomerated flux. For detailed information about this welding flux, please refer to our detailed data sheet.

Union S 4 Mo – UV 420 TTR is a wire-flux combination designed for submerged arc welding (SAW) of unalloyed and low-alloy steels. It is suitable for single-wire (DC) welding. It provides excellent slag separation even in narrow-groove welds. The flux is particularly suitable for multi-pass fillet welding of medium-strength steels. It ensures good impact toughness in the weld metal at low temperatures. |
