Barcas CuAl7
This alloy is widely used in the automotive industry in the MIG brazing process. It is used in the repair of bearing housings and for coating surfaces requiring corrosion resistance. It can be used for shafts, pumps, valve seats, and pump coatings. It can also be used in the repair of ship propellers made from a similar alloy.

This alloy, which has very high strength, can be used for joining alloys such as aluminum bronze, silicon bronze, manganese bronze, and nickel bronze. Barcas CuNiFe is an alloy that exhibits excellent resistance to saltwater corrosion. It can be used for welding and plating nickel-copper alloys with a similar chemical composition. It is used in machine parts made from 90/10 cupronickel materials, desalination equipment, the shipbuilding industry, petrochemical plants, and food processing equipment.
Barcas CuSn5P
Thanks to the low levels of phosphorus and silicon present in this alloy—which contains 98% copper—it is possible to produce a weld metal that is non-porous and has high electrical conductivity. After welding, the weld metal has a color close to that of pure copper. It is used for welding deoxidized copper, electrolytic copper, and pure copper casting alloys. It can be used for welding materials such as copper pipes, distillation tanks, or elbows. It is also used to join copper to plain carbon steel or to coat the surfaces of steel materials.
Barcas CuSn8P
This alloy (Cu-Sn 6%–8%), which can be used for welding tin bronzes, is also used for welding brass materials that are technically weldable. It is used to join tin bronze and certain brass alloys with materials in the cast iron and steel family. It is an alloy that can be used to coat the surfaces of steel or brass materials. Its general applications include the joining of all tin bronze alloys with the same or similar compositions, as well as in production and repair/maintenance welding in the chemical and petrochemical industries.
Copper Welding Wires
Due to its high tin content, this alloy is generally preferred for cladding welding. An increase in the tin content enhances the material’s yield strength, tensile strength, and hardness compared to the CuSn5P alloy. This alloy, which can be easily used for many applications, can also be used to join cast iron parts with steel materials.
