MIGWIRE 312
This alloy can be used for welding stainless steel and low-alloy steels (welding low- and medium-alloy steels to stainless steels) and for filler welding applications on low- or medium-alloy steels. Its low carbon content enhances resistance to intergranular corrosion. In carbon steels, it can be used as a buffer layer prior to cladding with 308 and 308L-type welding materials to achieve a 304 and 304L-type surface coating.
MIGWIRE 347 Si
This is a fully austenitic stainless steel welding wire used for TIG welding of stabilized and unstabilized Cr-Ni-Mo-based 904L/1.4539-type corrosion-resistant stainless steels with high corrosion resistance. It is used particularly in facilities where flue gases are desulfurized, in pipelines carrying seawater, and in the petrochemical, paper, and pulp industries. Due to its high Ni, Mo, and low C content, it exhibits high resistance to intergranular, pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion in environments containing phosphoric, sulfuric, and formic acids, as well as seawater.
