Class

FOXcore CM 2 RC welding consumable is a rutile-cored, low-alloy filler wire primarily designed for welding creep-resistant base materials (such as 10CrMo9-10) containing 2.25% Cr and 1% Mo. These types of materials are used in the manufacture of high-pressure vessels and piping systems.

Thanks to its fast-solidifying slag system, this cored wire offers excellent positional welding characteristics and allows for high travel speeds. The cored wire is suitable for welding with standard power sources under a mixed gas shield (82% Ar + 18% CO₂) in direct current with the electrode in the positive (DC+) polarity.
