Thermanit 309L Mo – Marathon 805, tozaltı kaynağı (SAW) için bir tel/akı kombinasyonudur.
S 23 12 2 L / ER309LMo (mod.) tipinde dolu tel olup;

  • For cladding low-alloy steels, welding with Böhler Thermanit 309L is ideal.
  • In dissimilar metal welds involving duplex and stainless steels with unalloyed and low-alloy steels

is used.

The base metal has an austenitic–ferritic structure. In cladding applications, the composition is largely equivalent to that of the 1.4401 / 316 base material, even from the first pass. It is designed to provide excellent weldability and wetting properties and offers high resistance to cracking. These properties are provided by Böhler Thermanit 309L.

  • Ferrite (Fischer Feritscope): –40 °C to 300 °C
  • Corrosion resistance: Superior to 1.4404 / 316L even in the first coating layer
  • Oxidation (tuffing) temperature: Approximately 950 °C in air

The former product name for SAW wire is **“Avesta P5”**.

“Avesta Flux 805”is an agglomerated basic flux that provides good welding properties, a clean weld bead appearance, and easy slag removal. It prevents excessive chromium burn-off (Cr loss). For more information about this submerged-arc welding flux, please refer to the separate technical data sheet. The former product name for this SAW flux is **“Avesta Flux 805”**.
